Rapiergroup have recently been reassessed by Investors in People and are delighted to have been upgraded from Silver to Gold level.
The Investors in People standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people for sustained success. Based on 25 years of leading practice, collaboration with over 1,000 organisations and management thinkers, the Standard reflects the very latest workplace trends, to help every organisation be the best they can be. Organisations undertaking the Investors in People accreditation are benchmarked against Investors in People best practice.
We’ve taken time to learn from our team what they think makes Rapiergroup a great place to work. Personal development and growth are key reasons people join and stay with us. Rapiergroup puts employee welfare at the heart of its strategy, and has put in place a variety of schemes to ensure that employees can achieve a work-life balance. Flexi-time is offered to everyone as standard, and regular working from home is actively encouraged for those whose roles allow them to do so.
When people have been working on site over weekends or Bank Holidays they are offered lieu days in exchange and the office closes over the Christmas holidays to ensure that everyone can have a proper break from work. Our in house Rewards and Recognition team run by employees, for employees, provides the softer touches that can make working in an intense industry easier.
“As an organisation becoming an employer of choice within our industry. Having achieved IIP Silver accreditation in 2016, we worked hard to address the areas for improvement to get us to IIP Gold. Our focus for the last few months has been on formalising our reward and recognition programmes, developing our CSR initiatives and engendering a learning and development culture throughout the Company. Our progress in these areas has been clear for our employees to see and we are delighted to have been recognised with this Gold accreditation.” Kathryn Bell, Director of Internal Operations, Rapiergroup
“After gaining the Investors in People Silver standard in 2016, we were determined to push for the Gold level as our company vision is ‘to deliver exceptional results for our clients and our people’. Over the past 12 months we’ve collaborated with employees to identify the areas we needed to focus on to push us from the Silver to Gold level. At the start of our journey we set ourselves a core company objective of ‘being an employer of choice’ and by achieving the Gold standard I feel we have well and truly achieved this. In an industry that often demands a lot of its people, it’s so important to us that we look after and nurture our team, and make it as easy as possible for them to cope with those demands.” Helen Seaman, Managing Director, Rapiergroup
